It is necessary that it should be fitted in correct direction. Then put on the cover for fuse. Now switch on the engine. Test the radio of the car. If fuse that was blown out was the reason for not working of the radio set then now the radio will work.
The procedure for changing the fuse of after market radio set is slightly different from the previous one. First disconnect the battery. After locating the blown out fuse find an exact replacement for that in an electronics shop. The difference here is car radio is taken out from the car and after replacement of fuse is done , it is placed in dash board. It is necessary to ensure that the screws and panels are put back properly. Clips are fitted again and battery is again reconnected. Now the radio will work if the problem had been due to blown out or damaged fuse.
