Check the sound clarity with different preset provided with equalizer setting and select the best setting for particular kind of music.
Increase the volume slowly upto maximum level to know the limit of your speaker and stereo, if you happen to hear any distortions reduce the volume slowly until the distortion ceases. Certain speakers can take more than 1000W if your avid listener to loud music its recommended you change the speaker which is rated for more than 1000W.
